Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Retirement Insights Series ("RIS") websites, event-registration forms, educational seminars/workshops, communications, and related services. RIS is a service/brand of Localish Consulting, LLC. By using our websites or registering for an event, you agree to these Terms.
1. Educational Purpose
RIS provides educational seminars, workshops, and related information. Content is for general educational and informational purposes only and is not individualized investment, financial, tax, legal, insurance, medical, or other professional advice. Presenters and sponsoring organizations may offer professional services separately. You should consult qualified professionals regarding your individual circumstances.
2. Event Registration
Registration is subject to availability, eligibility rules, venue capacity, and event-specific requirements. We may confirm, cancel, reschedule, relocate, transfer, place on a waitlist/review status, or otherwise modify registrations when reasonably necessary. Event dates, times, presenters, topics, and venues may change.
3. Communications and SMS Terms
If you provide a mobile phone number and opt in to non-marketing/service text messages, you agree to receive recurring registration confirmations, event reminders, attendance confirmations, cancellations, directions, and other event-related service messages from Retirement Insights Series. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel text messages and HELP for help.
If you separately opt in to marketing/promotional text messages, RIS may send promotional messages consistent with that consent. Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of registering for an event or purchasing goods or services where prohibited by law.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier/network availability.

Your use of text messaging is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
4. Email Communications
We may send transactional or service-related email concerning your registration. Where permitted, we may send marketing emails subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
5. Attendance, Cancellations, and Conduct
If you can no longer attend, please use the provided cancellation method or contact us. We may refuse or revoke attendance for disruptive, unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct.
6. No Guarantee of Results
RIS does not guarantee any financial, investment, tax, legal, business, health, or other outcome from attending an event or using educational materials.
7. Third-Party Presenters, Sponsors, Venues, and Links
Events may involve independent presenters, advisors, sponsors, venues, websites, or service providers. They may have their own terms and privacy practices. RIS is not responsible for third-party products, services, statements, or websites except as required by law.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, branding, text, graphics, workflows, and materials owned by RIS or Localish Consulting, LLC may not be reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without permission. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Our websites, services, and educational materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent legally permitted.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Localish Consulting, LLC and Retirement Insights Series will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the websites, services, or events. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful misuse of our websites or services or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.

15. Optional Follow-up Consultation
An independent presenter or advisor may invite attendees to a separate, optional consultation after an educational event. That consultation may involve discussion or an offer of financial products or services by the presenter or the presenter's firm. Attending an RIS event does not require accepting a consultation, purchasing a product, or engaging a presenter. The identity and disclosures of a specific presenter may be shown on that event's registration page. RIS and Localish Consulting, LLC are not affiliated with the Social Security Administration or any government agency, and no government agency endorses these events.
